Health benefits of the different ingredients

Nuts and seeds are anti-inflammatory and great sources of healthy fats, protein, fiber and polyphenols (antioxidants). They also contain many important vitamins and minerals.

Together with a healthy diet, they can help reduce blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure. Nuts may also help lower total and “bad” LDL cholesterol while boosting levels of “good” HDL cholesterol.

Fibre is key for a gut healthy diet. They help to keep you full and balance your blood sugar levels. The recommended minimum daily intake is 25-30g. One avocado contains 11gr fibre which is almost half of the recommended intake.

Whole eggs are highly nutritious, containing almost every nutrient you need and are a great source of clean protein. Choose organic, free-range and omega-3 enriched if possible. Use Stigs bread in this delicious recipe of avocado on toast with poached egg.
